I always screw them for the reason above.
And I also screw them too tightly so the lug screw comes out as well. But I'm heavy handed like that with a lot of things.
Did you drive it not long before it went off. I remember the alarm on my old Clio would sometimes go off when the local cats jumped on the bonnet for a bit of warmth!
I had that twice recently. Confused the hell outta me. I've heard it beep at me when I've set the alarm with the door not shut properly, but never after dis-arming it!

Don't buy Sharp they're terrible. I used to be able to get Sharp TVs cheap. Got three people in my family them. (different models). None of them lasted to their 3rd birthday!
I'm so happy, two really sappy trees in my garden have been chopped down. No longer do I wash my car one day only to find it in the same condition as the day before!

I'm in similar thoughts about the vee. I probably could afford to have a vee, but I really don't like the ph1 front-end, so I think I'll wait till I pay off the 172 (15/16 months left) and wait for the ph2's to come down in price. Having said that I don't think I'll keep it long...
I don't think he's necessarily going with BT, Rich. There's a site which will give you the approximate speed you can expect from your line though.
Can't remember where it is though. http://www.samknows.com/broadband/ is a good information resource though.
