I remember about two months ago I was going down to my mums and the miles left to go was 78miles, now there is a shell not far from where they live 76miles.

Better still when I used to have scoobys , left foot braking whilst flooring it to keep the turbo boosting, wasn't a master at that but could do it good enough I suppose.
GTTuning, you seemed to have taken the thread and completed mis-interpreted the original question.
Turbos have no place in this discussion. If the question was what is the cheapest way of getting big power, then yes, turbos would be a relevent topic.
I would never spend big money on tuning...
Certainly is, and I'd certainly be happier with a kit fitted by my own hand than risk handing my car not to mention my money to a 2 bit part time grease monkey.
