It fine now, most of it went onto the ground. gave it a wee clean inside and that sorted it. fuel line is securely attached to the injector rail now. i do consider myself very lucky it didnt catch on fire.
about 1 mpg! the petrol literally flooded out the hose all over everything, even on the underside of the bonnet. after 5 mins at 60mph i used half a tank!
Was driving home from Stirling this afternoon, after being in Glasgow too, and noticed that I could actually notice the fuel gauge slowly dropping from half a tank to nearly empty in around 5 mlies(ish), so I stopped in Gargunnock getting a bit worried. Fuel leak thought I, got out opened the...
wont bottom out as it aint affecting your suspension. might need your arches rolled though if you want to lower it. i found that wheelbasedirect arent the cheapest atm, halfords have a sale on atm and you can get 16s with tyres cheaper there, and they wont require postage!
i've beena sking...
My electronics warning light came on today, yet the car runs fine. Does anyone know what may be up with it? Last time it was faulty spark plugs, also heard somewhere it may be throttle body which I have had problems with in the past? I have an autocare warranty on my car so hopefully its...
Theoretically you should get better acceloration with smaller wheels, and they'll be lighter. 16" turinis weigh 8.4Kg (not sure if thats with or without tyre) per wheel and 15s turinis weigh 7.5Kg in direct comparison.
Typical female drivers!! I had a female driver pull out infront of me on a roundabout recently without even looking, just carried on her merry way without even glancing at me.
Hope you get it sorted!!

theres a black clio at college owened by a lassie and shes got pink seat covers, pink steering wheel cover and pink fluffy dice hanging from the interior mirror.. also has silver playboy decals behind the rear passenger windows. How about something like that? paint the brake calipers pink?
Ultimate I think. 35 or 60mm drop i believe.
I'm alkso thinking of lowering my Mk2 Ph1. Is it not sucha good idea to go for just springs as with all this cant take heavy loads problem due to the dampers neing compressed permanantly?? I just cant quite afford dampers too.

Thinking of purchasing the Utopia body kit from K-tec for my Mk2 Ph1 clio, K-tec do not spray body work as they do not have the facilities so does anyone know anywhaere in central Scotland... ideally Stirling or Glasgow? Edinburgh is a bit far and I dont want to post it as it increases cost...
If you want to modify your car, then dont go to liverpool victoria as they dont insure modified cars... although they are the chepaest i could find when insureing my 1.2, have you tried afrian flux?? i got a good eal with them.

As its only a Mk1 and prob not worth a great lot of money, have you tried TPF&T?? My first car was a 1994 1.3 8v fiesta, only worth a £400 but my excess was £500... even if you did right it off it would be cheaper just to buy a new car than pay the excess. Wish I had thought of this at the...
is it not herse?
As wozzaa says about the 25, when i was looking for a car i test drove a 25 1.4 16v (105bhp??) and found it to be rather slow compared to my 1.2 16v clio (75bhp). i got a ripping at work gor getting a clio, but most of them are middle aged men who cant tell when theyre...
