Hey I was wondering how to run some wires from the roof light circuit into the doors as I want the leds to be in sync with opening the doors etc and controlable from the switch.
Any ideas how to run it?
Re: Breaking problem
Thanks a lot mick, I'll have a look tommorow. Think i'll pop into town and get some new tyres for the front aswell as they felt "slippy" on the way home tonight
Hey all,
Noticed this recently and is possibly dangerous.
Firstly: 03 plate, 1.4 mk2 ph2, front tyres 4/5mm thread, rear has slightly more. 16" turini alloys
Basically it feels like I have to push the pedal down quite far and hard to get a reaction.
Also when I brake urgently from speed...
Looking good mate, you can get an RS Grill from this site for about £50

I presume they are all basically the same.
Where the light is you can see the line round it and then there should be (on the passenger side) a little dip. Pop a screw driver in there and it will wedge out.
The switch mechanism should be pretty self explanatory
From what I've read it's a fairly common problem.
Pop the bulb out and the connector, if there's green stuff its corrosion. Try scraping it with a screwdriver to wear it away and make sure the connections are tight.
I've buggered mine cos I closed the boot on it when I fixed it :/
Scrappy have...
my interior light was playing up a bit, take it out the roof and pop out the bulb, there's two connectors that are silver, just wedge them up a bit with a screwdriver to make the connection better.
failing that, then look at how the switch works (pretty simple to work out). the copper may have...
My friend has a JL sub (not sure what make) but it sounds alright, nice punch.
Personal advice, I have a Vibe Slick 12" which is awesome, very loud, think it was £150 including the amp & wiring kit
Looks great mate,
Whats the process to changing the bumpers and getting the twin exhaust? I have the same car and mines cracked at the back so want to fit a rs bumper
With an aftermarket hu then it should show the time with the temp underneath (without the stalk lead connected)
Did the temp used to show or has it recently gone?
I think its £40 but they are pretty simple to install.
Just get a set of stereo pins for about £2, pop em in, take out the headunit, pull out the wires, put the new ones in, tuck them at the back.
Put the new headunit case in, use a screwdriver to push the pins in so its stays, connect it up...
Picking up some turinis this evening and want to know how to remove the alloys that are on a 1.4 'billabong' 03 clio
There is a strange looking bolt holding the centre caps on
Also what size adapter will i need to remove the bolts holding the wheel on
Thanks,
si
Something not overly expensive just the ones on mine are looking a little rusty and the brake time seems too long (i might still be getting used to driving a different car) but I have to push quite hard to slow down
Installed full alpine speaker upgrade, Vibe 12" sub & amp. Pics soon.
Hopefully picking up some turinis this week and still practicing the carbon vinyling (harder than it looks).
