    i would suggest every 3-4 months , or do it by feel test ;)

    you will need to get the holes filled , then smoothed over and sprayed . better off doing the whole boot lid . (spraying)

    go to a specialist paint shop and get a cellulose based paint in the colour of your choice , dont forget the undercoat
