for the record.. the blue 'flash' you see reflecting back is actually the projector lense not the colour of the HID light.. hence why even nissan primeras/fiat puntos etc all flicker blue but they still have a yellow halogen light in them.

dont ever go on reuptation.. check out their work yourself.. i went to somewhere that was VERY popular.. and they were diabolical! the filler should be left for quite a while to sink, before its flatted down and painted. then it shouldnt be a prob.

at 21 on the 182, directline were great for me too.. 745 quid.

yellow should be a constant 12v feed - this is to store the memory.. red should be 12v when ignition is on - this switches unit on

anyone know the name of the shock proof headunit?? there used to be a headunit that wasnt much to look at, looked like an OE unit, but it had awesome sound quality and a good shock proofiness for bumpy/crashy cars.. the standard blaupunkt hu in the VX doesnt seem to like bumps too much...
