I thought all the talk of it being a fair bit worse was just down to how people were driving, but it's not, it's just worse. It's costing me £53 a week as opposed to roughly £10 less in the 182. Prices have recently risen though.

Yup, same here with the Trophy. If I sat at 70mph it averaged 40mpg. A couple of weeks back I filled up totally, drove to Birmingham on the M6 and held 70mph there and back. I saw 32mpg! 28mpg is pretty much what you can expect for normal driving.

You won't. It will cost you roughly £10 a week more in petrol. If you sit at 70mph on a motorway you'll see 32mpg.

I commute into Birmngham each day, doing a 42 mile round trip. If it's clear I go home on the M6, the rest is normal roads. With the kids off there's less traffic so I'm seeing 29mpg. That's pottering, with booting it when I get a chance.

I couldn't find the Zymol. Must have used it all. That Megs gold class shampoo is nice though, but the wax was even better. The NXT wax was easy to appy but didn't come off anywhere near as easy as the gold class.

I'll try and get online for some racing over the weekend. Not got much spare time though this weekend. Out tonight, need to do some housework and clean the car tomorrow, then a meet on Sunday.

GT4 Prologue was a hugh leap forward for the simulation engine though over GT3. It gave us a real taster for how the full GT4 would be. If GT HD was the demo, GT5P is the pay for taster of what we can expect from GT 5. There's no doubting 5P is good, but it's not moved the game on anywhere...

Even then it will never have the tension of trying to keep it clean for fear of damaging your car. Plus the collision boxes on the cars in GT5P are massive!! I wouldn't bother Si, and that's coming from a huge GT fan. At least my PS3 was free, I'd be gutted if I'd bought it just for GT5P.

It does look better than Forza, though does lack nice particle effects from the dirt and tyre smoke. Polyphony need to realise that the game has moved on massively and they've been left behind. No damage, inaccurate collision, poor online play. As I said Si, they should have stuck to 720p...
