defo mate. been tempted a few times to get it done again properly tbh. lol damage is on passengers side but even then its not that noticable but im just glad the headlight never got damaged.
not yet mate. gave the body shop a quick visist today and they said its repairable but advised me to get a new bumper. think it an excuse to get the proper wings and sideskirts now and do it properly this time. will have to wait till the summer i think as i dont have the money at the moment.
depends on what coilovers you go for but basically most coilovers allow you to go down to about 70mm-85mm on the front and 60-80 on the back but if you wanted to go lower on the back then you could get custom springs made
i was i the same situation as you a couple of weeks ago mate. but i decided to go with the v max which are up at a bargain price in the group buy, which would take me down to 70 at the front and will get 80-90 custom rear springs for the back. that is enough lowering for me as any lower on the...
well kind of but the differnce in the twisties between a 172 and a 1.2 with decent coilovers is less obvious then it would be for straight line speed. fred put up a video a while back to prove my point but like i said straight line a 1.2 and a dci would get tanked
sounds like a good plan mate but i wouldnt do a trophy rep as it will never look right imo. just like you could never get a v6 to look right. also in my experience you will struggle to get a 182 exhaust that will look decent. so i would stick with a white 172. rich cup had one and it looked...
totally understand your point mate but i just realised that you said you had 15" wheels which is probably why you struggle to go over speedbumps. he has 16" wheels which means even if he had his lowered 60 it would be an inch higher than your which would probably give it adequate clearance
you will struggle if im honest with you to get some new coilovers for that price and i have never saw a second hand set. pm Biohazard mate as he has a mk3 on coilovers so he may be able to provide you with more info than me
thats the one mate

oh and i will get back to you regarding the seats when i work out the exact distance
there is a group buy at the moment for £304 inlucin vat and postage which is very cheap considering you will be saving £100 on their retailing price in the group buy. as for fitting if you have little knowlege of cars then fitting them is really easy. pretty much undo 6 bolts and bolt the...
40 is very boring and you will eventually feel that 60 isnt low enough. 60 is certainly not too low for normal roads unless you had a huge splitter. there are people here that are 70-80mm on the front and they manage to drive fine on roads. again jordi i can only say that the most cost effective...
they are black metal things that extend from the top mounts down to the front hub and they contain the springs on the front. if you look under your front arch above the tyres you can see the springs and the springs sit on the shocks. if they were to leak you would see fluid which is yellowish...
well it will be very bouncy and you will especially notice this when you go over speedbumps. secondly if you look at the shocks you will see that they are leaking and will fail its mot for that
