wellyeh but if shocks failed then you would be about 80 for new shocks and about 80 at least to get them changed. i would buy peace of mind tbh as there is no guarentee how long they will last.

if you run 60mm springs onstandrd shocks then after a couple of months you will need new shocks. best advise i can give you is to get coilovers mate. will be worth it in the long run.

my one came with a caliper holder and extender brackets and you use your original caliper

mines has been on since last august. i got it cliped on to the machine and it turns out it was one of the front abs sensors needded replacing. will cost about £100 to get it sorted but i will just get it done in the summer before it goes for its mot. however if it turns out it is the sensort...

yeh it removes the paint and returns them to bare metal so saves you sanding them down to refurb them.

on sports the drop is not great with prolines but on non sports its at least 30-40. i can email you some pics if you wanted of my car on prolines.

think brembo is selling a set of renault turini's in mint consdition with good tyres for something like £475 posted. might be worth while pm'ing him.

if you want better handling then go for thee eibach prolines. on the non sports they also give a nice drop. if your wanting a tiny further drop get apex or sportline springs. i shall be selling my eibach proline springs shortly but best advise i can give you is get coilovers if you have the cash

if you are loosing power as well it could be the alternator

get one from the ph2 megan. they look very subtle and only cost me £10 from scrapies.

Re: Painting wheels... yup i used jungle jims guide and it worked great. i done mines in the summer and if it wasnt for curbing my wheels they would still be in mint condition. rattle cans are suffice for the job
