Please people dont think the engine is warm and at a safe temp because the water gauge is half way, Just because the water gauge is at working temp does not mean the oil is, The oil could only be warm and not able to do the job its suposse to.
I.m really supprised that theres not a oil temp...
Sunday i went to my car to get something out shut the door and stood there talking to my g/f anf the car just locked its self. And the keys were on the seat. Good job i was at home and i had a spare key.

cant beat standard wheels on 172/82, Dont normally like standard alloys as they are all gash but the sport wheels are nice.
The only thing i would have is 182 wheels.

ive had greenstuff on my saxo and astra coupe turbo, both running EBC discs to, imo standard pads are better, Greenstuff suffer from major brake fade. Only good thind is theres little dust.
Mintex and ferdo (sp) im going for.
When putting in my ITG at the weekend i noticed that at the bottom of the airbox there is a cold air feed going somewhere under the pass light and another opening where i assume its sucking in warm air from the engine, Anyone know why this opening is there?
Thanks
I had my saxo mapped with a Dastek, 1 week later the program corrupted, took it back to pts in luton they charged another mapping fee 3 months later it happened again so i binned it and went to chipwizards.
I would stay clear, well clear. Only my opinion
When i drove it home two weeks ago from buying it and i didnt have to do anything to it, not wash it or anything. Bought it in show room condition from a po-lod man who never took it out in the rain.
Must say i had a nice smile on my face driving home.
My VTS was s**t slower than what i have now, So unless the TU5JP4 engine has been giving a nice pair of cams, headwork, map and basic breathing mods, It wont touch a 172.

i know what i would have, 106's Good car in the days. But anyone thinking it will give a clio a head ache must be in their own little world.
I know its not an impreza but its still a 2.0l turbo but i sold my astra coupe turbo running at 243bhp for a clio 172 and i personaly think i made the right Decision, Turbo cars are fuel drinkers and you need a deep pocket.
172's are nippy with low cost.
CTR's are just s**t, End of.
Just...
lol @ 106 gti is a faster car...

Right fitting my ITG panel today i noticed at the bottom of the standard airbox there is a hole leading to the out side of the airbox just underneath, Why is there a feed coming from there as well as behind the light somewhere. Surley its just going to be sucking in warm engine air.
