dont think there is a difference between cars. Just get a summer / winter coolant so that its good all year round. When did you last check it? Coolant level shouldnt be at minimum, you should keep it topped up.

well on that site only the standard Uk plates will be legal.

this has been posted before IIRC... think its a relay for something. Get in the footwell and take a good look... should be able to see where its come from.

you know its illegal right for the car to be insured under your mums name but for you to be the main driver? The insurence would actually be void. If you have an accident then they will check up on that. A valver isnt exactly a middle aged womans car. Theres a post here about insurance...

not got a clio but i have got a clifford concept 500 which i find to be excellant. So good in fact that it catches me out quite often! i.e. open a door with engine running, forget to re-enter code and next thing i know im being warned that the engine is about to be turned off.

Car manufactured on 31st December 1993 Im the 8th owner. On my old 1994 valver i was the 4th owner. Not sure on my first car, I believe i was the 2nd.

your self description of a crash test dummy is a bit worrying... have you had other crashes? Maybe you should get a pedal bike!

some of the guys at work used to (years ago) do just that... if they needed to replace something on their car then they would drive around to find a car with the parts they needed then go back at night and nick them.

You cant gurantee when you will get more interest, id take it.

does the interior light work? Which fuse did you replace, on the stereo or in the fuse box in the drivers footwell?

i think for a show car it would look good. For a day to day car it looks OTT.

If shes home and i choose the pc over her then yep she minds! Luckily she normally works nights so no complaints :D

have you driven a valver before? You might not like moving from a modern car to an older one. Valvers are great cars but Ive never been in a cup to compare them.
