    i dont believe there are any cupras in my price range. Im looking at £6k maximum. As to why im here.... Ive had 2 Clios, (mk1 1.2 & mk1 1.8 16v) one whilst being a member here. Is that ok with you?

    theres a garage on the way to my parents that has one in at the moment (closest to me), if they still have it in at the weekend ill got and take a look. Being a mod doesnt mean im all knowing ;) lot of difference between a 172 and an Omega lol At the moment the Omega is winning.

    burning smell + smoke... checked the coolant? (obvious but 1st thing id be checking) If you had "blown the manifold" youd get rather a lot of noise :)

    yep parkers lists the Golf R32 as group 18. Cant see any insurance company even offering you a premium to be honest.
