Why will non of my video clips, dvd clips etc play in 5:1? I've tried media Player, Winamp and VLC so it's not the player. In fact they will only play out of the 3 front speakers. Mp3's are find and use 5:1.

Before you BUY a new modem / router are you sure that's the problem? My parents tried 3 different ones in their mammoth fault finding task and had BT out approx 8 times. They would get disconnected at any time of day and see speed reductions at night. Turned out it was BT equipment in a field...
