Yeah, it's all fine they say. As I said, two different mechanics had a look. First one was the women (yeah, I know :eek:) doing the MOT then I got the guy who owns the garage to look. All without tolerances etc and the linkage is fine they reckon. *sigh* Too many fast 1st to 2nd changes. :(

Yes, Ford and Yam went in together on the 1.2-1.7 Zetec-s range. Power wise? Yeah, standard, looks like there's loads of easy mod though. Unlike Clio's which are neigh on impossible to squeeze anything out of.

Completely true. If you're going to run 100 plus RON you need a remap. Hell, 98 RON and plus need a remap.

It was a the dogbone one that snapped. Sheered the bolt. The garage who repaired it said it was fine otherwise. If I grab the top of my engine and move it about it moves EXACTLY the same as my Mum's 1.4 16v Clio, which has no problems.

My 1.4 16v has been known to jump out of second going over speed bumps. All the mounts/gearbox and clutch are fine.. It's a fecking french tarty shopping machine. Get over it.

1.6 8v is 90BHP 1.4 16v is 98BHP Oooo! Which one?! lol
