I bought the cyc Menz starter kit and found that power finish isn't aggressive enough except for on the plastics. Will be ordering something extra soon.
Link to the step down box? I'd love a more efficient charger and seeing as its on a switched live it won't drain the battery, although I do miss having a constant live 12v. Might have to swap it over....
Get yourself a cheap charger for the cig lighter socket. Get some wire, unscrew the base with the pin on (careful as they have a spring), wedge a piece of wire down there and re assemble, get another bit of wire, wrap it round the two contacts on the sides, tape it up like f**k, then the other...
Just the man I was after.
Durability isn't my main concern as I like to apply lots of layers and probably top it up every week or two anyway.
I want something that isn't really fussy to apply, buffs off easily enough, but something glossy that will bring the flake out and give it a wet look...
Need a wax to use on the Monaco. I've really missed waxing a car so Werkstatt Acrylic Jett is a little boring.
I've borrowed Ed's Glaseur but apparently its not very durable and more of a show wax. Only borrowed it to see what it would look like.
Any suggestions welcome.
Welcome to CS and nice car.
Please don't fit a cup spoiler. Get a GT spoiler. Perfect.
And as Chi said there are a lot of NW CS members going that day but in general there are a lot of us in the NW so you can pretty much guarantee that at least one or two people from here will be on track...

Couldn't find my camera today at first so took a quick snap on the phone.
Paint is much glossier but its been pretty overcast today and Monaco only shows its flake in sunlight.
Doesn't look too bad though.
Cheers. Going to order some dome nuts to put on the end of the braided lines so I don't have to ***** about leaving it to catch into a bottle when doing the refurb.
ICV wouldn't cause a lack of spark IMO. It'll just cause it to climb the revs and not idle.
Fingers crossed you manage to sort it. Can't wait to see this running
Looks great. I'm going for the exact same suspension setup in the coming months. Would be great to see how the car looks on the ground once they've settled. Although I'll be looking to run spacers too.
Good work.
Few things to update. I've received my calliper refurb kit from Brakes International so I'll be cracking on with that at some point, but I also purchased a DAS-6 Pro and set about trying to achieve some level of correction on the paint. The paintwork is shocking to say the least, the more I...
