Yer was a bit nuts, wasn't much he could of done. Hope everyone enjoyed it, for me you just have such a mix of cars that you will never see anywhere else let alone blasting past you so for that it's unbeatable. Saw a nice rb 200 on the way down this morning then a new gt2 rs came racing past!
I was doing 112 miles a day in mine around 4/4.5 hours a day, did around 25-30k in 6/8 months lol. It wasn't ideal, but it wasn't a massive problem apart from the clutch being heavy in traffic.
MX5's are awesome, it's probably the most fun i have had in a car. As you said driving around at night with the roof down is epic. I really want one again, but might go with MK3 this time. Break the Clio and turbo the MX5 you will be a lot happier.
Yer I never really understood lol, I guess they have never driven something that is planted. Got back from Machester about 1am last night, car didn't miss a beat or use any oil. Cruise control was a blessing for sure.
Only had it for a couple of months, cars don't tend to last long around me. Wasn't as involving to drive as i would of hoped.
£3500
Yer they are crazy high when standard, look like a rally car. When they are lowered and the Octavia wheels are fitted they look much better!
Here is my MK1 Fabia VRS Special Edition, took advantage of the lovely weather yesterday and gave it a wash then took some phone pictures. Will be up for sale soon, i will miss the mid range grunt for sure.
Always had a soft spot for these, how is the auto box? I take it a CVT? If i was getting one defo want the 3.0 then turbo and done :) I just love the dials, looks like a watch.
The thing i found with mine was that it was a great car to go up and down the motorway, very comfy and refined etc, but when you wanted to have fun and go round some twisty roads it was just boring. It seemed a bit soulless to me and didn't do enough to keep me entertained. The straight line...
Glad to see you finally managed to get one. Mine hasn't shifted yet, think i will lower the price quite a bit just to see it go. If you don't mind me asking what did you pay? Feel free to PM me if you prefer. I like the grey it's nice. If you need any advice on them give me a shout!
Between the M4 and RS3 i would prefer the RS3. The M4 noise is pretty horrid in my imo. If i had to buy an M4 i would save a bit more and get a CS or potentially just an Alpina.
