    which would you choose

both do the same thing. they will both conform to the same FIA safety standards too. a custom fabricted cage wont be stress tested etc. so it may not be as strong as the one's above. depends what your after really, looks or function.

    carbon fibre roofskin

was with Sybez on the weekend. His is just a carbon sheet bonded onto the original roof. So it saves no weight, just looks pimp, and matches his carbon boot and bonnet. If you found a company to produce one then let me know, as i would be up for some of that!

I had a wheely good weekend...

not too sure to be honest. These particular wheels (ET43) are slightly heavier than the ET38 versions, as these where specially made by Speedline for the Palmasport Clio's. These are a bit beefier and stronger. Basically due to the abuse the palma clio's receive!

    UPRATED LOWER ENGINE MOUNT BUSHES

just fitted one to mine. seems to do the job. anything that stops the engine moving about is good in my book. Shame they dont do uprated mounts for the rest of the engine.

Wheel is really nice to hold, a big big improvement over standard. I went for 350mm, tho i have used a 320mm before, but i prefer the slightly bigger wheel.

I had a wheely good weekend...

I had to remove the blueflame that was on it, as it was total poo. I also didnt have £1400 for BTB to make me a 1 off 172 system. So i went with the next best thing in my opinion (slim pickings), which was the k-tec system. So hopefully that has cleared that one up for you. Also...

    N/A vs. FORCED INDUCTION

why would the turbo car have lag? are they both pulling away on tick over? if not, get the launch right and your boosting already. I say turbo would win, due to extra torque. But i would be praying for n/a supremacy!

Fitting coil over's - advice plz.

a few pics of when i did my 182... and like i said you need parts of the old suspension top mount... maybe the old mk1 172's are different. as you can see i used spring compressors, as it makes the job easier, and is far safer. You undo the top nut whilst its under...

Fitting coil over's - advice plz.

you will need to transfer the tops from the old front struts to the new struts. so u will need some spring compressors. otherwise its an easy job. its hard to go wrong!!

    182 BTB Exhaust Systems....

Basically with BTB the more you buy the cheaper they are, hence why to sell that at £500 we had to have 10. As it stands the demand isnt there for us to have another 10 made. So unless we can get 6 or so deposits in for a system, they will have to be done as one off's or small batches...

    182 BTB Exhaust Systems....

not at all, just the cost for a single 182 system would be in the region of £1000. but if someone wants it, we will certanly get it done!

    182 BTB Exhaust Systems....

the exclusivity deal that we have with them. like you can only buy a saxo BTB from GMC Motorsport. Which are £500 plus VAT i beleive (for ben's info)

    Exhaust modification question.

the first box in the system is most important, so any after that are just for silencing. will be pretty crazy loud with no boxes!! lol

    182 BTB Exhaust Systems....

it was just a public service annonucement really. So people know they are all gone, rather than getting the money together, getting excited, then being let down when they come to order it. Rich[182] - you have always seem to have a dig whenever possible. not really sure what we have done to...
