I just left it for an hour, ironically after making that post it worked, i tried it again to get a screen shot and it went straight through.
And handbrake +1 for the converter
front was all done up, i took the supports out from the wheel arches, and removed the gearbox mount and 2 rear bolts, hadn't got round to re-fitting the brace plates by that point.
supported the subframe on a trolley jack, then went in over the back edge of the subframe on the drivers side with...
i had this problem doing my manifold change, and i spun the steering wheel to try and get them lined up again.....doh!
I dropped the back end of the subframe to give some clearance to get it back together in the end, lined the wheels all up straight then had a fight to get it all together...
Ill try and get one, probably wont be till the weekend, but the car is sorn atm anyways, was hoping to have it back in daily use by end of this month.
don't think cam seals were done, i know the rest was though, ive still got the box of old bits somewhere
it's only a drip at the moment, its probably only loosing a couple of ml every 100 miles.
The belts were done by an independant who used to work for Renault before starting his own garage and now works for the RAC.
you think it's a cam seal sam? i can take the top cover off and get more pics...

don't want to come across as impatient, but if this is going to become expensive, the car is getting torched.
i've put far too much money into it for the miles it hasn't covered, and the last thing i need is another expensive problem.
Finally got my 182 manifold on, along with a custom sports cat to keep mr MOT man happy.
Now the car's had an oil drip for ages, but it's only a drip, and I always thought it was the sump gasket.
I've had it up on axle stands for the last 3 weeks while the subframe was off and the manifold...
What version of the clip software does everyone use?
i've not used this before, only the freebies alongside a cheapo handheld code reader.
i take it clip will work with an obd usb cable like the elm327 ok?
Refitted subframe after 182 manifold conversion, fitted custom sports cat, got car back on wheels, now won't start!
doh!
tomorrow, clean it, then work out whats causing the stalling issue
