Do the Sachs deterioate with age as well as mileage then? Suprised they need a rebuild 2years ago..

I have the Clarke one and even used it this afternoon on my mates Vectra diesel barge that weighs about 30tonnes it did creak a bit but is fine.. Nice and light and even fits into the boot in the MX5 easily.. Although I am tempted by one of the Arcan ones and keep the clarke one for trackdays...

To be fair to the guy in the bmw it was very slippy out there, and a few times I had people sat right behind me on corners where its pretty obvious I was on the limit of grip anyway so if it went being rwd they probably didn't want to be that close..

I've currently got 205 rainsports but thinking of going hankook.. (if I keep it) now its summer!

Dan what do you want to use them on? Rainsports are awesome for using in the crap weather but do lack ultimate dry grip.

What suspension is it? Spax?

I know the area and trust me the Koni's are ideally suited for those kind of roads..

Personally I love mine awesome on b-roads around and here and performed pretty well on track as well.. Where are you located?

I've ran 205 888's and 195's the 205's did scrub the inner arch liners though on OZ F1's..

What exhaust is it? Mine has a straight through mx5 parts one and that's pretty loud.. so no idea what you have?!

Did you just underfuel the car as not sure on the useage from the new engine?

Is an easy enough job but you will want to get your alignment checked straight away as you will trash your tyres pretty quickly if it's out.
