I know it's separate it just what the guy from greenlight sugested.
Toby mine doesn't make any difference to claims. Think it's £50 excess for a windscreen but it won't effect normal insurance.
You need to buy a new squib if that's gone.
Mine was broken and clicking and it also houses the steering wheel angle sensor (again mine was gone)
cost me £40 fitted for a secondhand one on Thursday.
I do have a chip in it and wanted to get it replaced...but insurance was only done in April and the guy told me to wait a couple of months otherwise it looked dodgy.
I think il go insurance route. Don't need anymore products!
Just had delivery from i4 yet again!!
It's fairly easy to pop the old ABS ring anyway (I reused mine) if they don't have them on.
Diffrent sized screwdrivers and work your way round...URL eventually pop off.
de-cat was a c**t! Couldn't get the front lambda out so got cit-ren guys to do it whilst they did my driveshaft. £30 to take it off and fit the old one and that included 2 new lambda's :) quite good I thought.
I thought it wouldn't make a difference.
No Dan still not sold it. Went to cineworld last night though (parked at KFC) and left it in a place where people could see. Has 2 calls asking price, then went to ASDA and had a phone call there too.
Won't hold up much hope.
I have found an EVO though :)
Re: MOT FAIL>>ADVISE NEEDED
UseRUse a flat screwdriver covered in something top pop the rear numberplates holder out.
U might need to clean the contacts though. The f*****s rust etc as they are exposed under the bumper there.
Probably a really silly question. I have a few scratches/marks on my windscreen.
I'm guessing it wouldn't do any harm to go over it with the Rotary and using a yellow menz pad and relevant polish (85re or whatever I have..the least cutting one)
richy
I have done what you have Clart...I have the socket only though and the fucker sags on the righthand side where you seem to have put that tie-wrap. No matter how tight I seem to do that band upit still slips after a few days.
Will get it back on the ramps soon and have another play though.
Out of curiosity have you rung them to see if they can do a better deal??
kinda off topic..With my home insurance this year natwest put it up from £200 to £298.. Sod that I thought so rung around and found it for a lot less (£180 or something). Rung up Natwest to cancel it and the guy said...
Theres a good "country" pub in Norton. I havent been there since I was about 19 (ten years ago) but it did some very nice food (its next to the Esso garage along the main road through Norton.
Edit...Norton Dog is its name
Wtf is that crap over it??? Some kind of epoxy???
I can't see fully from the pics but I'd look to trace where the power comes in, there should be a voltage regulator or something on there. Check that for shorts (bleep test with a decent multimeter)
then see if you can see what the part number...
Y ktec system sags like a fucker too.
I replaced all the mounts etc yesterday on our 4 poster/drove the 2 miles back to work and the c**t os saving again.
I give up with it TBH
Everyday's a school day! :)
Im surprised people dont "recommend" doing it whilst there Im guessing if it goes x amount of months down the line a new cambelt would be fitted again?? (Sorry if thats a silly question! :o)
