dephaser pulley mate. mine sounded the same as that and ive just had it done a couple of weeks ago. not cheap repair im afraid though mate. new cam belt kit, new aux belt kit, new dephaser pulley and a days labour
i think what they would do is have the back box in the same place as where it is now but route two pipes to the centre, kind of like the k tec 172 (182 replica)zorsts but hide it all behind the bumper
depending on what plastic primer you use, you may need to use a normal primer on top of it as some of them are purely for adhesion perposes and cant be flatted to get a nice finish.
hi mate i gave it a clean today at dinner and it did make a difference to be honest. was a lot smoother and less hesitant to go. 1*2`s are famous for not letting you floor it from cold but as said it was smoother so its worth doing any way.

lol ive already done about 10 pairs and have a waiting list of people who want them too lol. i just dont get the time to do them at work unless its quiet though.
ther are guides to most of, if not all of the stuff ive done to it so if anyone fancied a go then its there.
ive heard that giving the crank sensor a clean helps a little so im gona give mine a clean tomorrow at work to see if it makes any difference. if it does then ill let you know mate.
cheers for the comments and sorry about the spellings lol. i was a bit tired when i did this. i do the thumb grips when i get the chance mate and put them up in the for sale section. they are made from fibre glass though not rubber im afraid. as for the sub box, i rapped it in a fleece...
next up was the wheels and badges so decided what i wanted to do then got on with it

my missis got me a stelth shelf for my birthday so it was rude not to fill it with vibe juicy goodness

i also decided that i fancied making a one off fibre glass sub box that fitted perfectly into the corner on the boot so set...
i then thought that the fron end was looking abit taty and there were a few scratched (the ones i mentioned earlyer) on the rea bumper that needed doing so i started on them
so once that was done it was on to the next thing
i then wanted more lol so i decided to have a bash at polishing it up...
at this point i had managed to get a blue samco induction hose so the bring the blue into the colour sceme i did this
i then started on the inlet
