    dephaser pulley mate. mine sounded the same as that and ive just had it done a couple of weeks ago. not cheap repair im afraid though mate. new cam belt kit, new aux belt kit, new dephaser pulley and a days labour

    i think what they would do is have the back box in the same place as where it is now but route two pipes to the centre, kind of like the k tec 172 (182 replica)zorsts but hide it all behind the bumper

    Painting Plastic?

    depending on what plastic primer you use, you may need to use a normal primer on top of it as some of them are purely for adhesion perposes and cant be flatted to get a nice finish.

    not sure but to get the correct equipment to do it would probly cost you the same as getting it done properly, unless you were getting an rs tunner.

    hi mate i gave it a clean today at dinner and it did make a difference to be honest. was a lot smoother and less hesitant to go. 1*2`s are famous for not letting you floor it from cold but as said it was smoother so its worth doing any way. if you dont know where it is then its under your air...

    lol ive already done about 10 pairs and have a waiting list of people who want them too lol. i just dont get the time to do them at work unless its quiet though. ther are guides to most of, if not all of the stuff ive done to it so if anyone fancied a go then its there.

    ive heard that giving the crank sensor a clean helps a little so im gona give mine a clean tomorrow at work to see if it makes any difference. if it does then ill let you know mate.
