Hi guys Had the 182 for a few days now and have noticed that when idling at lights etc its jumpy.. only ever so slightly but enough to feel it.. feels like a slight misfire.. Never had a clio before, is this deemed normal or is something wrong Any help appreciated

Since I picked up the 182 it doesnt seem to pull good when accelerating. Got it onto the bluetooth obd reader and throttle to the floor is only registering around 3/4 according to it. Can the throttle cable be adjusted at all is this a common issue

Ok guys. Picked up the 182 .. is it.at all possible its been mapped. Its idling at 1000 from cold and not particularly lumpy either exhaust purrs lovely on idle power delivery seems smooth no kick at 5k doesnt feel quick but is obviously shifting if that makes sense havent yet tested the red...

Ahh mkes sense.. Shame the factory fitted ones are not bigger! I want people to see the tips clearly - cant have people thinking im driving a "normal" clio lol

Its prob me just being paranoid having saved to get a 182 I want to make sure its running as it should. As said seemed to pull throughout and exhaust made a nice sound although im sure its standard. Car could be remapped for all I know tbh.

Sorry i meant that a Renault specialist did the cambelt not renault themselves.. the car prob is ok but when u read things on forums and never driven a 182 I just was expecting a turbo kick feel at 5k but I think something happened around that rev range it felt slightly different.

Tbh I think I did notice a little lift but wasnt sure what to expect. Renault themselves did cambelt so assume they'd no how to do it correctly

Ohh well no idea if it has but it certainly went well just expected to be thrown back into seat lol.. perhaps low fuel didnt help

Hi just gone and bought a 182 from a Renault specialist.. was doing some research and apparently they have a good surge of power at 5k . This one seemed to lack it but was extremely low on fuel.. anyway could this cause the 5k loss

Hi got a 1.4 engine.. imagine you just opened bonnet, the big belt looking right at you i think its the tming belt? not too sure anyway sqeeks a bit spray with wd40 and its ok for a day then starts again.. think it needs replacing?

So there i was driving along when the car started juddering when i came to a junction and cut out, with battery warning light on.. it seems to be mis firing juddering excessivly and there was a rotten egg smell.. its a clio 1.4 auto.. when in park it just judders, then i select drive it judders...
