Who's for a drive on Sunday 20th June?
Not exactly Monaco, just a run in one lol and a chance to get a wee meet and some banter squeezed in & ideas flowing :)
Because I'm miles away like the Wizard of OZ I'll meet you's halfway round my route at say..... Sprucefield round 12ish
Drive up the...
Double-check your nuts!
No pun intended lol, this happened me after getting tyres on once (in a "tyre safety depot")
As they had buzzed the nuts on, 2 of them were cross-threaded and weren't in tight enough (by about 2mm)
wasn't much but at over 30mph it was like the bloody train to Dublin...
Your sins have been forgiven Milo lol :p
As said, a nice set of components up front and an amp & sub in the boot does the basic job, then if you want more power, get an amp for the components.
DONT worry about the rear - the head unit will be sufficient enough for that :)
I had trouble with 2 rear bearings before too - fitted in brand new discs that had bearing pressed in, no spacers though and the spacers didn't come out when the previous discs came off :S
Had the 2-wheeled 172 on a mates lift for 6 days waiting on 2 fecking washers - great craic!
I'm almost certain I was getting this noise before coilovers were fitted, so can't put it down to being too low?
I did have a split in the O/S outer CV boot though which has been sorted out now - still get the noise :(
Mine isn't silly-low and I get a funny noise when taking a hard left!
Noise comes from the front right wheel, sounds a bit like a flat tyre, as if loosing grip
Nice one Dawn - little & large beside the BIG sister there lol
Will be sweet in your careful hands - in no time! :D
As for not starting - mine does that sometimes, but won't even crank, fire or show any warning lights :S
5 minutes later it goes as normal - try that one! lol
