They are adjustable and they do a junior one for kids, look on Google images or YouTube. They tend to mount them wrong way round so the camera sits on their back looking over the dogs head (if that makes sense!) Should be able to rig something on her collar easy enough though

I'd imagine the mounts have perished and previous owner has bodged/packed them with nuts and cables ties Some new mounts should sort it, jack the rear and have a look. Should be able to sort on your drive yourself relatively easily

Don't think you'll like the price of a new caliper mate ;) You can get a second hand caliper or pair while you're at it and completely rebuild/refurb/paint them etc Have a search few people have done this recently
