There is no space left behind the engine, and the turbo is touching the heatshield. Will the heatshield squash a bit? I only need a few mm for clearance. Or can it be removed and a modified one fitted?:)

I was quoted £180 to drop subframe and remove manifold on mine. Sounds a good price.

I always push into first then into reverse, before reversing, to line the synchros up. Never fails.

hahaha! Cambelt is an expensive job! I will probably need to do this more often with the tubby, so need to try and do it myself.:) First time will be scary.lol.

Anyone have a drawing of the tools? I want to get some made up for myself. Then I'll need a very detailed guide on changing cambelt.:)

I got used to it, but yes it is a little more twitchy. Planning on doing the same with the 182.

If you calculate the overall radius of the tyre, try and match to original as close as possible by choosing a different profile of tyre.

This is a bargain!!!!! You will not regret it, the power delivery is good and its grips surprisingly well in mine.
