jumping on the band wagon of acoustic valve removal :o The last bit i've got to remove is the small rubber tube that connects the valve to somewhere (lol)...can i just cut this and tape it up? :S

Yeah they do, but i've bought a samco hose (xtreme), which isn't taylor made for the clio, basically because is was 20 quid! lol So i don't know whats the best for the breather pipe. Would a separate crank case breather filter be ok - would it get enough air? :S

Anyone got a samco silicon bend? I have just ordered a bend that doesn't have a breather hole in it like the hillpower ones. Have you got a separate filter for the breather pipe? Wheres the best position for it? Or should i just butcher the samco hose and stick the breather pipe in there...

Its when you pull away...the instant air will be hot rather than cold. bah, who gives a fook anyway, not like we're preparing a cup racer. lol :)

Think it would work/breathe better with a dedicated air feed imo. Heat soak will be more noticable when stuck in traffic etc.

Need to check it out mate, you'll be able to tell straight away if its a rotter or not. I don't get my serviced by Renault, because i don't trust them with my car, so a FRSH means bugger all imo.
