yes! If the timing belt has broke / slipped it will stop and be dead. 95% of the time valves are bent and its engine strip down.

Yeah what gaz said, it was the vems hole, we put the power cable through it, as it was a nice large hole! Battery is in the boot aint it! :)

We had a car doing this!! The 12V positive feed to the upstream lambda sensor was earthing out, had rubbed through and was popping the fuses!
