That sounds pretty straight forward.
Q. The larger nut in the middle of the disc, I take it that doesn't need touching??
If that is the case, what does the wheel attach to?? Can't be just the disc with 4 bolts??
I bet I'm missing something???? LOL !!!! :D
Is it the same for the rear discs??
Anybody fancy doin a step by step of changing the disc's on a 172/182?
Need to change mine soon and would like to do it myself. I think I could wing it myself, but just not sure on the torque settings for the bolts 'n' nuts. :)
I haven't got either on mine.
Didn't buy it from new, so didn't have the option.
Q. Are the wheels for the Cup lighter??
I asked the question on the forum not so long ago, and almost got laughed at. Apparently they are not lighter, just different colour. TRUE/FALSE??
Welcome,
You'll pee ya pants when you finally get your hands on the car, and you relaly start drivin.
For the Tyres, keep check the forum. Somebody is always selling tyres.
Enjoy mate..
^^ LOL!!!
I say Yay!!!
Just give it a once over. 172 are very easy to modify, so get under the car and look around to see if it has any mod's.
That will give you an idea of the previous owner and his/her driving.
Right, got the car looked at yesterday. Apparently according to the Parts Desk at Renault Enfield (don't know how much faith you want to put in this), the difference between the above 2 parts is *********748 is the new modified part. **********223 is the part that requires the bolts when fitting.
I'm not very impressed. it looks like you could have tried harder.
It should be shiner than that.
Only messin, lookin sweet. You can't beat a black car when its clean.
You've inspired me to clean mine.

I realise the pics don't show much, but the car performs 10 times better.
Braking and cornering feel better/sharper.
The overall appearance looks a lot better now too, without being aggressive. Basically looks like a sports car should...
Had mine go just under 10k miles.
Moaned like hell at the dealership, they replaced both sides for nout!! :D
WINNER!!!
Stick to you guns mate, moan like theres no tomorrow, what have you got to lose??? :approve:
Saw you drivin by the new GULF garage (Ponders End), about 0545-0600pm
Car looked at little dirty!?!?!?!?
Then saw the sticker on the baack window...;)
