Captain - its not a cheapo mate!! Its an improvement on the then unimproveable!! Its a refined and 172!!! The 172 got slayed by the cooper S and now renault have reclaimed the title with the cup!!! Thats good news to me and a nice comfort to be one of the few who gets to actually own and drive...

Well said 172 cup and pugboy!! LMAO !!! 500 cups in UK, 2000 in Europe - that should be a good size club! It would be totally exclusive as well to the 500 special edition cup owners (as renault put it)initially allocated to the UK! LOL !! Anybody know how many 172s there are 100,000+ ???

Just goes to show how cheap the 172 really is to produce - £3000 for a bit of leather, aircon and a spare wheel?? - I can live without that - Ive got aircon, leather etc in my 1999 RSi and to be perfectly honest it may as well not exist! If it gets too stuffy Ill go to B&Q and buy a chiller unit...
