what i described is the steering wheel buttons.
the small buttons on the dash where you right knee is will turn it from cruise control (green icon lit up) to Speed Limiter (same icon but orange)
Read the book Don lol.
left hand button press it up at what speed your doing and you'll cruise at that speed.
continuing to press it up will speed the car up on the display screen and in reality as well and down will slow you down.
now the right hand button, push down to turn the cruise off, push up to turn on back...
Xenons annoy me because they are so bright, so we've cancelled each other argument out.
The fact they are bright to your eyes means you've noticed them, in the same way xenons get noticed by me.
Lol, your an idiot. The lights are hard wired to be on regardless of whether the rider wants them to be or not, and beside which do you filter past traffic in your 172 lol.
So it should be, and side exit and 285 cam plus a large exhaust turbine housing = ear buggering loud LOL.
Its amazing the difference a cam makes to the dB actually lol. Got any pics of it, btw I'm on RTOC same name on there as well.
Yeah take the carb apart and give is a good clean out with some compressed air, just to eliminate that problem, wont do any harm anyway.
By the way, what intercooler are you using?
Did you do any drill out of jets whilst setting up. Its common to leave a tiny amount of swarf in that can cause problems, granted these normally affect fuelling throughout the rev range, so if it was running sweetly then maybe its something else.
Try an uprated jobbie and see how it goes...
Did you set the fuelling up accurately with a lambda proper and fuelling ratio meter on a rolling road.
BTW I'd not run full boost in top for long periods
Whats the jetting on the carb, i.e main, air corrector and 1st and 2nd stage enrichment?
Be sure to address the issue of why it blew before rebuilding it.
Get the fuelling checked out, it may be running lean top end. Uprated gasket is not needed tbh as the record breaking 1/4 mile time was done on the OE gasket LOL.
Kinda have the same hatred for people who put their headlights on in full blown sunlight.
Find its mainly people with xenons though, maybe its to show off, god knows.
Its hardly a sign of coolness lol.
2004 182.
Happy with it, but you really have to thrash it to enjoyu it, although I guess that makes it exciting in the first place.
Typical Renault hot hatch so 8/10 Just wish it were faster in a straight line though.
