How did you stop the rattle from the passenger seat runners. I've got the same bloody problem and can hear it above the f**king stereo on full blast!

Easily solved...buy the strips, 2.0 16v badges and door handles I have for sale for a 172 mk2 ph2. lol :)

How many miles had it snapped on? I always worry about mine going as i'm sure i've seen the black plastic rubber guard around it almost shaven away by friction and heat. Looks like its wearing down to the cable. My wire is going to be changed soon anyway as i'm getting bodies.

If it's as tight as a 172 mk1 the oil filter is a b*****d to change cos it's so inaccessible. I used a hammer and a chisel/screw driver to make a grove in it then chisel the filter off because it was so tight. If you get someone with the hands the size of a baby then all should be well.

Changing cam's on these cars does take a while. Think mine was done in about 6ish hours.
