Very rare for any 172 to produce 172bhp exactly on the rollers at the flywheel. They are usually something like 166 or 168bhp.

Still happening after a couple of days and i've looked at the 2 front wheels. The discs on the passenger side look fine but the driver side centre part of the disc seems to be covered in brake dust I beleive. Looks like yellow/orange. Any ideas? Again noise only happens between 0-10mph...

Most modern car's are designed to crumble, it does absorb a lot of the impact, just costly to repair.

Gash mate, nasty place to damage on these cars as the panel is all spot welded in where as the bumper is just bolt on/off.

Anyone else with any other ideas?

Will make more noise really. Won't affect peformance that much unless you have lots of other mod's which benefit from having a straight through exhaust. I'd go for a custom exhaust from prospeed or similar.

I've recently changed the front discs and pads so could be this. I did think engine mount but I'm positive it's coming from the driver side front wheel.

May possibly be the same on my car as i've recently had fk coilovers put on. Only seems to have started happening after this... What can be done about it? It's not when going over speed bumps or anything...it's when driving on a smooth straight line down a road.

What size is that cliosport sticker? Is it external or internal?

Seems to be coming from the front right hand wheel (driver side) as far as I can tell. 172 Mk2 ph1. Squeeks upto around 10mph then noise stops when above this speed. The squeek slows and speeds up when accelerating/de-accelerating between 0-10mph. Anyone?

GDI are getting the equipment/software to flash the std ecu and map it to your spec. Talk to Andy about it. Not sure on prices. Think yozzasport offer a similar kinda package. You'll definately benefit getting it done after manifold work, exhaust, 182 mani, IK etc. Car will need a lot more...

They only need doing every 70,000 miles don't they? You just forget about them.

Got exalto's on mine at moment but tread has gone down on them making them a bit crap when driving as any tire would be. GOnna try F1's next as highly recommended and apparently they stick to the road like glue.

I was thinking that... Shall I spray the spoiler silver or spray the whole car blue to match the spoiler lol. Afraid not, it's gonna be silver. Blue's for bhatti boi's :rasp:
