Std Alarm problemo...

Hi guys,

Has anyone had any problems with their std alarm?

Mine often beeps for around 2 minutes when unlocking the car sometimes and when locking it occasionally. Also the hazard warning lights will flash sometimes without even touching the button.

All of this behaviour stops when I actually start up the car.

Car is a 172 mk2 ph1.

Not a major problem just a bit annoying at times when it does actually happen!

i dont have the same problem but if mine ever goes off, i cant seem to stop it!!!
usually have to wait till it stops itself. same car as yours too

my alarm keeps going off when i lock it, but it only happens when its raining, after a half hour wait, i can lock it OK, sometimes i have to leave it unlocked and i know that would void the insurance, should really get it sorted, but cant be arsed
