not all of them do, cuz in europe the driver sits the other side. yours MIGHT be an import, there is speculation on which ones do/dont have locks on which doors but my theory is they just wacked on whatever was lying about in the factory. my cup doesnt have locks either side.

theres a black 172ff at the local garage near me, they want £7600 for it!!!!! i paid 6.5K for my cup with 21k miles on it 6months ago. what the hell has happened to the value of these cars, a while back the value was plumetting.
imo, anything non-standard looks completely, well and truly out of place. one day when ive got time im going to get a new head unit, then rig the standard facia onto the front so it looks completey standard, as best as possible.

i considered the vts when i got rid of my 1.4, then a cup went past me in the street, followed by a vts (as if god was helping me choose), it was not a hard descision to make...

took it off, doesnt sound much different but like i said, its much sharper. god knows why.
yeah i drive like a bit of a granny due to the amount of miles i do, came from nottingham to kettering yesterday and was sat at 44mpg, and that was the back(ish)roads thrui melton mowbraw etc, not down the M1. get one mate.
i dont have any data to back this up, but it definately works, there is a definate sharper throttle response. MPG has gone up by 1-2 as well, not bad, lol.
Definately worth it, goes like a rocket in 2nd now, acceleration after 5k is much smoother and throttle response is noticeably sharper. I definately reccomend getting this thing out...

yeah the liquid yellow is a rare one. i remain reserved on the carbon bonnet but everything else it top notch. I have a pic of her car that I took at kimbolton that is my desktop background atm, lol.
i do, get a few back as well, although there are alot of miserable sods about, theres a woman with a ff172 round where i live and she only uses it for the school run, so i dont bother with her. always flash everyone else tho.
I calen my car, religiously every sunday morning right now, but as winter approaches that cud tail off a tad so i need to get set for winter. Should i polish, EGP and then give maybe 2 coats of wax? how long does egp seal the paint for? what with all the muck, water and grime at get thrown at...
