For the whole glare/attention stuff etc I/you/probably most people on here get out on the road, when you see cars like that (the glares being from people typically driving such a thing), is makes me wonder if they realise that their creation is pretty low in the chain in terms of looks.
Not bothering taking the car literally to pieces to get dirt like that out, get the bulk out and be reet. This little Renault Clio will just turn into more of a nightmare if I take it apart any more!
Only place is has to go at the back really is inside the bumper I guess.
I wouldn't really be that overly fussed on making it all brand new on the little 1.2 tbh.
Personally would just do the belts as there due, place bearings/brakes when they come to the end of their livess and put petrol in it.
I've seen brand new ones that looks worse off than the finished article lol!
Great job at it, in a way inspirational to get up and learn to do it on my own car but I'll get to that eventually lol.
Think I'm going to opt out of this one tbh, as much as I don't want to.
Only have a number of weeks left in college to do my work, and with going to Oulton next wednesday and being ill for a day, I think it's best bet if I get that days work done when I can.
My drivers side is like this. Didn't work at all for ages with the central locking, worked for awhile, but then has in the past few days started to stop working again.
Usually un doing the 3 bolts in the sill area of the door, loosens the lock up. Some WD40 in there and it works. Mega annoying...
No point paying so much for a car tbh. Yeah it's fast but, save the cash. Would you pay £20 for a cucumber at tesco?
You'd think you were getting raped. Same with insurance.
