but another car goes off at speed on the same corner, either lack of tallent or the track is too fast for some of the drivers to keep control under braking??
nice, glad to see another one in the club :-)
i dont see the atration of that blue though, i know its a gt only colour but still everone has that colour.....
thanks guys, think ill treat my self to some more ag stuff and some of that coillinite wax, should i put it on before gloss protection, after gloss protection or bin the gloss protection in favour of the wax??
ill have a good read of the that site tomorrow before i get me buckets out, cheers...
cheers, should i add anything to my kit to help cut the swirls, noticed autoglym did a £40 tin of wax, is this worth the money and at what point should i put it on??
at the moment my steps are
jetwash
wheels/shuts/arch plastics
wash with two bucket method
rinse with hose
dry
clay
wash...
just getting into detailing and spent £60ish the other week in halfords on autoglym shampoo, clay kit, resin polish and gloss protection and various cloths pads/towels/new noodle mit which has made a massive improvement to the cars paint but it still has some light swirling/lacquer scratches on...
not if you get the camber/tracking corrected at the same time as fitting.
the lower you go the more neg camber you will get so correcting it to oe settings at desired height should give enough clearence on standard wheels/195 tyres.....
your into custom carriers/lines which wont be cheap, may as well put the money onto 4 pots which run 312mm discs i think
imo get some 1*2 calipers and the ktr big brake kit and braided lines, wont look as good as the 4 pots but much better value for money...
yes they will fit but they will be thicker springs/higher spring rate for the 1.4/1.6/1.5 dci so wont lower as much or work properly with the 1.2 as its a much lighter engine...
get the suspension to the height you want it, then get camber/tracking done then measure the gap you have left as you may have more/less than you thought so you wont be wasting any money on wrong sized spacers......
but to answer your question you wont be far off with between 10 and 15mm...
ive got fk hightech suspension kit on mine and its good for a budget kit.
eibach/H&R are the best on the market and are progressivly wound for better performance/comfort over just lowering your car and the spring kits work better with standard shocks but all that comes at a price......
if...
stunning car, as winston says unless you want bent subframes and smashed sumps (lol they were the days)
i would stick a 1.4 on carbs in there and run rsi brakes so you can keep the 13's :-)
yes the discs will fit in principle as they are stil 4x100 and 60mm center bore but you need the valver/williams calipers with abs sensors as the valver disks are vented your 1.2 brakes are solid discs and only 239mm i think....
might be able to pick up a pair on clio16valver.co.uk but valvers...
