The Sherlock Holmes films are superb on Bluray. Though next to the BluRay awesomeness of Pacific Rim they look pants lol. PR looks so bloody good.

The ST will be getting its first track day up Knockhill in March. Spoken to John that organises the SIDC days, he says his first date is 29th March (Though you can't book yet). Track etiquette on the SIDC days is the best imo.

Get down to Currys. They have a sale on (Or did have last weekend) and they were selling a lot of sound bars for not bad money.

The Amazing Spider-Man is another awesome "showcase" for Bluray. Just finished watching it and loved it. Much better than the "Toby McGuire" lovey dovey nonsense and definitely worth the £7 purchase.

Picked Skyfall up for £8 in HMV. The Sherlock Holmes films (Downey Jnr ones) are £10 for the 2 of 'em. So picked them up to. Also so got The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men: First Class, Pacific Rim and Ironman 3.

Had problems getting a reliable game on this tonight (PS4). Lagging was the worst I've so far experienced, to the point it wasn't worth playing.

Opted for an LG 5.1 home theatre system. Will stick icky pics up when it's hooked up.

The theatre system doesn't need to be Samsung. I just posted that image as an example of the sort of speakers I'm looking for (Not too in your face or bulky). The eh only reason for the existing system is that it was free with our last Tv.

The LOTR trilogy isn't the best transfer to Blu Ray tbh. The Hobbit though looks superb.

I think visually Avatar is still the benchmark imo.

Assassins Creed is meant to be really good most websites are puting it top 3 best games of the year. BF4 really is awesome on PS4 so Id recommend that. Santa brought me NFS:Rivals which is a hoot also. As for new games coming in January? Ive pre-ordered the new Tomb Raider. Looks the biz.
