My replacement console arrived today and the wife has set it up and so far it's working (touches wood).

Looks like it could be fixed for me getting my replacement PS4. Result.

I see I can use my Dualshock 4 controller with my PS3 (With it plugged in via USB). Dualshock 3 feels very dated/wrong after holding the 4.

Ah well. There must be something internally "fudged" then. I just assumed it was the HDMi not going all the way in.

My HDMi plugged in: How are others? Ie. are your HDMi plugs all the way in the socket?

The new Dualshock 4 is awesome to hold.

The 2 squares are in past the end of the socket. I just get 3 beeps when I turned it on then the blue pulsing. No picture on the screen and won't let me put it into safe mode (hold on button for 7 seconds). Sony are sending out a replacement on Tuesday

There's nothing fouling it though. The plug just doesn't go more than half way in.

HDMi plug aint going all the way in. On phone to Sony now.

Finally reserved my PS4 copy of this to pick up on the way home from work.

Who'd have thought that eh? The US launch crashed the network so I can't see this launch being any different.

I'm meant to have it arriving tomorrow with my PS4. Will posts my initial thoughts after a go on it.

Mine also pretty much for this reason. All my Xbox 360 friends are going PS4 this time round. Also, looking forward to more titles from Naughty Dog after the awesomeness that was The Last of Us.

Allegedly GAME have cancelled hundreds of PS4 pre-orders.

Day 1 European consoles will definitely require an update. The consoles have been sitting in warehouses for weeks and in that time there has been 1.5 and 1.51.

Xbox One sold twice as many units as the old 360 did on launch day. Thats not a lot considering the 360 only sold 70,000 units back on 5th December 2005 however, pretty limited supply is meant to have lead to this.

Premium gets you? 4 map packs?

Is it safe to assume then that they haven't patched the game for next gen then if these issues of being disconnected etc are still present?
