Even modding a car one plans on keeping is "a waste of money" really. Its money one will never get back even if one was to split and sell.
Just gotta enjoy it while I'm still enjoying it.
After much deliberation, today was the day I had the little Fiesta booked in to be given the Revo stage 2 treatment. Booked her in Sitech racing in Fife since they have a very good history/reputation in the fast Ford world (Albeit primarily Mk2 Focus RSs).
Stage 2 consists of;

I know its the ring so its free for all but on all UK trackdays I've done you're told in the safety briefing to slow down maybe 35% when you see yellows/trouble and not to slam the anchors on as you'll end up in the same scenario as these Scoobs.
Any explanation as to why the BMW slowed to quickly?
I know theres a marshall waving yellow a bit down the road but to slam the anchors on like that is unnecessary?
Gramps will be on once the Lend us a Ride stuff is finished.

I'm downloading it onto our MacBook Air that doesn't really get used all that much.
The beta program is now open (For the first 1 million folk) to the general public for those that haven't already got the developer links.
Just thought I'd say for those that are interested.
Was up at Knockhill again on Monday night. Track was very slippery to begin with (Like driving on ice with oil on top of it) but it did dry up slightly so got faster. I have some vids which I'll stick up at some point.
Couple of pics courtesy of @wee brl:
The track was ridiculously slippery for the first half an hour. I've never driven on such a skippy surface. Car wanted to go straight on power and the back wanted to overtake the front on turn in. Glad it dried up though.
