The sensor is mounted on the top of the transmission bellhousing at the left-hand end of the cylinder block:
To remove the sensor, remove the air cleaner housing, trace the wiring back from the sensor to the wiring connector, and disconnect it from the main harness. Unscrew the retaining bolts...
Seems to be a leak coming from the gearbox, and the thermostat producing some interesting liquid on my drive :/
Two of the pipes now need to be replaced (perfect opportunity to get blue samco hoses :) )

So I've only had my baby for a few weeks, as soon as I got it, it had really bad juddery acceleration, so I got it on diagnostics and found that there were two destructive misfire faults...
Its £100 for the key, and £100 for reprogramming at Renault, so £240 inc VAT.
The garage near me will do a new key for £90 programmed, they come directly from Renault France preprogrammed now.
