Bugger, I was emailed and told that it was ready but renault had pre-ordered a load so it would be a while before it reaches the likes of halfords.

It does exist as I got this product number from one of the guys there (try emailing them about it) I think it replaces the PC9-112 or something. I am going to wait for this cable to be availalbe before I install my MD stuff. Guess I can live with big ugly CDs for a while

To be honest you *should* use a 90 amp lead and fuse. If you use a lower ampage wire it *could* get too hot and burn out

If it is actually Alpine M-Bus is it possible to get adaptors for this? Id much prefer to leave the changer intact and just replace the head-unit. Oh well, guess its going to be a complete rip-out job

I was told that there should be no reason why the cd changer wont work with other alpine head-units. This was by a guy working for renault. He said they dont do anything to them, just get them supplied from alpine.
