Ive got an autolock 2000 which its real good too (covers half the wheel) - think it came out before the disklock and it used to be top. Had mine on my pug and now my clio. Only wish mine was silver and not yellow but it does stand out - looks pretty good with my new cliosport.net sticker on it...

Arjuns was a bit loud for me - i was in the bad and soon got a headache. Great sound though.

I spoke to the Renault dealer and he said that Renault do absolutely nothing to the stereo they get from apline and that it "should" be able to work with other alpine kit - yeah right!

Autoleads are bringing out a new lead PC9-500 (also heard PC9-501) and its about £80 but apparently you get the radio stuff on the display !!! (how do they do this?)

You might get an adapter for the remote control and display but youd be very hard pushed to get something to work with the changer.

I think it IS alpine and uses the old M-Bus conection and not the new Ai-Net. It might be possible to get an old alpine to go but im in the same possition - i want my sony md head in. Ive found a M-bus to Ai-Net converter but its the wrong way around - anyone know if there are reversable?

Its a Sony, CDX 715. Im thinking of plugging it into my PC as I can get a good 12v from it.

Ok, I did something stoopid. I left my CDs in the changer when I removed it from my old car. Now, any ideas on how I can power the unit so that I can eject the CDs ??? Thanks.

I am thinkig about the security glass, means they cant get in through the window and wont leave a mess. ClioSport members get a 15%discount from Pentagon. Think there is sometimes a link on the main page.

How about buying those security glass windows from Pentagon? (and poss delocking the car)

I was surprised at how loud my factory exhaust was when I opened her up. Wasnt expecting any noise really - I was very surprised.

GR, I think Ive sorted them. Couldnt pop them out (which was annoying) so I took drastic action and used a soldering iron to melt the plastic away!!! Think they are on now though - car going to Renault tomorrow for them to fix the washers.

Bugger, I didnt snip enough plastic off and now the clips have popped open and cannot get it off or on now HELP !!! How do I get behind the light to get it out?

Are the demon tweeks ones the same as you can get in halfords (for about £22) ?

I really like the look of the blue in the VWs but I found that if I dim the orange a little it looks a little better.

From what I was told, the PC9-112 DOES include remote display but apparently it isnt reliable and doesnt work on many cars. The PC9-500 is the one I am waiting for beore installing my MiniDisc although I dont know when its going to be available.

Glad youve come to a descision GR. Anyway, I want to change my side repeaters too, do you reckon I should get clear or smoked? Its a silver 172 - clear i think.
