Nice to chat to some of you guys at the show! Was a lovely day and i really really missed my car being there lol!!! It was a good way to look around the different motors and choose my next colour, however.
Liam, Lightening, Has, Fed, Kev, 2Live, was nice to chat to you all guys, i even spotted...
ewwwwwwwwwww dont swear at me paddy lol!! i wouldnt qualify anyway - - i crash too much cause im a bad driver remember - i am a fanny magnet (not in the good sence) ;)
cheers guys! remember, i am coming from a 1.2 16v too...........and although it did like to rev.......it wasnt exactly a throbber..........tick tick tick etc. The 1.4 would be better when you in the mood, but, day to day, real world driving of in-gear acceleration, think the Dci would be better...
cheers guys. I guess its gonna be a case of drive it and see. I cant aford to insure the 172 or 1.6 really, the diesel is cheaper to insure than the 1.4, and with a chip, im sure it would shift nicely, along with being easy and nice to drive with the torque. The 1.4 rev happy one sounds good...
What you reccon guys? The Dci is cheaper to insure, going on the fact that i am 99.9% gonna loose my 2yrs NCB thanks to some un-insured scum. Liverpool Victoria seem to be giving some pretty reasonable quotes considering...........so might be some hope after all?
hullo matey! think i sorted for FCS, been and taken my stereo out the car etc, and even nabbed my panel filter lol! lookin at insurance, its gonna sting with no NCB, but, its only about £100 odd extra for a 1.4 16v dynam..........so might be considering that
hmmm...........might change it to Tesco instead haha!
Insurance been on today, told me all the docs i have to send off etc. I believe they have already spoken to my witness too soo it seems they are on the ball - - - which im glad about!!! Is it just me or do you guys always seem to find you...
cheers Rob. Im fully comp. If i can keep my NCb life is sooooooooooooooo good lol! if not..................sod it its only money, ill be working in mc donalds on a night haha
i knew you couldnt resist the 60mm comment lol! if the NCB goes mate my next clio will be standard for at least a year!
**should i be looking into this guys?? http://www.mib.org.uk/index.asphttp://www.mib.org.uk/index.asp
cliopower......they abandoned the car so the coppers have that at least. As for gettin a dynamique..........i am looking into a 1.4 16v now :) its only about £150ish more to insure, and id rather spend over a grand to insure a newer car than an older one. Safety is no co-incidence hehe!
i bought this car because the insurance was a killer for either old or new..........so i opted for the better newer car to make the most of the money!!! I shall more than likely do the same again i think :)
cheers again guys, i have spoken to the insurance about the plate so they know about it. more expense, isnt it great when you have done nothing wrong! ah well........... i really really want another clio tho, especially after knowing how good it was yesterday!
thanks guys, its in the hands of insurance now, ye im gonna be shafted at renewal, but i paid my money, its time they earn it i suppose! i feel slightly more relaxed. you know what the hardest bit is...........not having time to say goodbye! just BANG and its totalled! I was near to tears...
thanks buddy!! thats really what i want to hear! :) just found out the car is not belonging to the registered owner, woopee.........lovely eh.
any insurance bods...........plz let me know about this uninsured losses thing, can i clam after ive got it sorted n lost my ncb with my insurance? off...
ive taken it all out! not having it sat in a car thats lying in a yard when the car wont lock of has no drivers window - they can spin! went n took car kit out today too
