We had a pump, but that was useless as the tyre wasn't sealed. We did exactly what it said on the side of the can Chris. A spare in the boot would have meant we wouldn't have had anywhere to put the eibachs.

I was VERY lucky that Kwik Fit had a tyre. If they hadn't had a tyre it would have meant getting the AA to take my car home for me.

And that was 2 hours later!!!!

Yes, then rotated the tyre to try and find what had punctured it. The foam didn't even get close to the hole.

I had them replaced on my 172 under warranty. It was only a few weeks old at the time though. It's worth a go.

Braking is where you get the biggest gains I reckon. You can really get a hang of where it locks up and even pump the pedal if need be.

I've got the wheel. It's very good, though not quite as good as the GT4 wheel was.

You'll get to use it this year, that surface at FCS last year was nasty. I followed you for a couple of laps with Jeremy in the car. Even he said he was glad he wasn't in a Mk1 V on that surface and he can seriously drive.
