Well im now trying to manipulate the whole new arm back into place but the ARB is nicely in the way!
Best to do up the balljoint pinch nut first then try to manhandle the rest into place?
Evening people. Im doing a late (prob gonna be very late) at work.
In the middle of changing my nearside lower arm (think it needs a new balljoint). Undone the inboard bolts, the ARB bracket bolt and the balljoint pinch bolt but i can't get the balljoint to drop out of the hub!
And...
Utter tosh.
I chose the Cup because its a hell of a lot more driver focused than the FF....not because i couldn't afford the FF.
The Cup is more of a drivers car...its as simple as that.
As much as everyone harps on about the new 197, Cup etc, they have all lost the charm and personality the Mk2 has.
Yeah it may be "superior" in most area's but that doesn't make it more fun IMO.
And no....im not a bitter 172 Cup owner wishing i could afford a 197 Cup....hell i nearly bought...
The Prolines do lower non-cupped 182's but not a great deal.
Sportlines are the way to go for a Cup packed car, but again, the drop isn't much.
They are more of a handling improvement.
