The USB input is great as I can simply plug in my external HD full of legal DIVX's.
I thought you were referring to audio (as in Line in, Mic).
You'll need some form of graphics capture card, USB in the case of a laptop, to take the feed from a visual device.
Yeah he had/has a Sata HD. The "problem" only arose when he was having problems with the DVD drive and I suggested he try the "other" IDE cable just in case... Of course there was no other cable.
That happened with Seb when he built his recent rig. I was on the phone to him and he was trying to convince me he only got 1 IDE cable and I was sure he must have lost the other one. I can't understand why some manufacturers only supply 1 cable!!?!?

They've had 20 connections on their unlimted "tariff" for a while now and it's less than £13. Ok it's "only" 85 days retention but if you use Usenet a lot retention becomes less of an issue.

binsearch is free but it's "basic". Newzbin is much better imo and only costs pennies anyway.
Edit - Membership to Newzbin also gives you access to their sister site too - (Google Newzxxx) but I wouldn't know anything about that ;)
