Mine failed over the weekend, managed to get a replacement though.
Just wondering why its called a resistor pack, as it looks like a transistor stuck on a huge heatsink inside. Not got past the white jelly yet.
What does it do?
Went down there this evening. The car has electrical problems.lol. Couldnt start the car to have a test drive. Very dirty under the bonnet. Seats are worn too, must have had a fat boy driving.
gearbox may be fooked by stoopid old biddies, and clutch coul be fooked from bad drivers riding it.
Who really cares, I drive my car hard from standstill. It's lasted 53k miles so far, when the engine blows up, I'll buy another for 500 quid. When that one blows up buy another.
I would choose...
A little misinformation, 12 months is not a legal requirement. A product being fit for its purpose is. If your veg from netto goes mouldy after a few weeks, you cant demand a refund.
bought some jbl thingy's today, will wire them into headunit to see if they improve things. Will be wiring them into my amp asap though, as I am sure my clio HU hasnt got the power to drive them to decent volumes.
Is the towbar illegal? I know towing is, but fitting a towbar may not be illegal. Some bike racks can be towball mounted, would this be considered a legal use?
hahaha....the clio engine i have seems to be bombproof! already survived one complete loss of oil. Last weekend after 150 miles most at !20 leptons i got home, switched off, came back five minutes later and the oil light was on, sump was nearly dry!!!!
 All still working fine.
It's my mission in life to stop people from having lambo clios.
For starters, the doors will kill you. Roll it and your stuck.
I also like chav fishing.:)
yeh, not too bad....could have spent the money in far worse ways. For example, removing ones testicle through ones nostril would be slightly more upsetting than this.
I dont need to worry where I live. Got a porsche carrera parked over the road, and a ferrari parked on the other side most days.;)
My little clio gets no attention round here.
I think someone who spends all that money getting a car to look like a V6, although a different colour with s**t doors, that have damaged the paint when they are closed is a muppet.
Plus if it is the lambo clio i have seen in person, its got a s**t snes fitted into the dash.
15k is cheap!
We just bought a second dynamometer at work for testing. Cost was £25k for the dyno, £10k for 30kW power supply. I suppose these "chassis dynos" arent as accurate.....:rasp:
