What colour is your car?
A bit of reading is where you are best to start with
1) This is a guide from Tim at CleanYourCar.co.uk as to the stages for detailing your car which is nice and simple.
2) The other guides to read that I think are good are the ones from Polished Bliss which are...
Looks good mate, nice shine to it.
If your using off the shelf products then a few coats of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection (AG EGP) would be a good stage to add into the process you've done.
I noticed you using a chamois too, best to get rid of that really and get yourself a Waffle Weave...
TomTom v5 took me down a road that was 'no access for motorised vehicles'. I didn't noticed the sign and my passengers told me about it and I had to reverse back up the road. Other than that it's been fine for me.
That wax blaster was a waste of money imo, didn't touch the marks on mine. I've just got some Meg's #38 which I've been recommended on DW so I'm trying that this weekend.
It's this one I believe as Tim doesn't appear to have the Megs one on his site and I can tell you it's fine because I have one. The items are all listed on the description of the kit.
The list must need updating, but all you need to do is put ClioSport at the bottom of the list of products before payment and you will get the discount.
Looking much better already mate.
What wax are you using tomorrow? I've not used the DW WWW but I think it's more a show wax so something that is durable is probably a good idea.
It's the favourite wax for me at the moment for shine and colour that it gives, so easy to use as well which is always nice. If it wasn't for the rain I might get to use it more!
Alan I think it was about £2 from Mark at AutoBrite (sales@autobritedirect.co.uk) drop him and email and he'll let you know the right piece.
Lots of people have said that Homebase is the easiest place to get it but they had run out when I went to get one.
Re: Outlook Express - F****d up. Help!
The link thing is a protection thing, should be a bit at the top of the message to enable it.
With the unknown error does it give anymore detail?
The Maxi suds I didn't think was great with the Gilmour Rich, best bet I think if your using the CG stuff is to use some Wash'n'Wax as it seems to foam better.
Starting to really take shape now Chris, I think it looks awesome.
Must have been very patient with the painting of the badges, have you got any pictures of the badges on yet?
Is the headlight washer normally like that, it looks like it's not all there?
