LOL at this thread.
Did you own a VAG before this? I've seen far too many times that VAG owners consider using a claybar almost as if it's a polish thinking it makes the paint look better. MENTAL
Best thing I ever did read was Kleen Freaks products. They told someone that the best way to...
Looking good. I'm glad someone chose to rescue this. White ones can look great, or they can look s**t. I'm happy the latter didn't continue.
Keep us all updated with the progress.
Quite an interesting thread this. After owning the 306 I'm quite fond of derv lols.
Didn't realise you still had the DCi, Ant. Was tempted to get one when I was looking for the 1.2
What's the difference on the 3 DCi's?

HSD coilovers get shipped with motorbike chain lube. It's sticky as hell though and on a new set of coilovers gives more resistance when adjusting the collars. I'd get them on the car first then spray them.
Doesn't matter because if they release a new model within x amount of time of you purchasing an old model they will replace it. It's like 2 months or something.

If Renault can't even get the cash out of their biggest fan boys then they're struggling.
Over the last 3 days:
Picked it up
Taxed it
Applied for the v5
Replaced the dash
Replaced a boot strut
Replaced the front bumper
Had a puncture fixed
Fitted my parrot
Hardwired a phone charger so I can still use the fag lighter
Fixed the rear wiper motor
Replaced a few bulbs
Busy few days.
No no no Jared they sound horrible. Properly gutless with the miltek. A friend had one and it was disgusting.
Not sure what other options there are but they have to be better.
As for the money side of things I understand. I could insure one if I was happy to pay £200+ a month but no way can...
Re: Jareds SSS
I love them. Ride is quite firm and they handle well.
Do not get a miltek system on it though. With and without a decat it sounds tripe.
