Paddy doodo space cadet lol..
its the large alloy rube that gets the air from the throttle body and then distributes it to the inlet manifold tracts..
or.....
just grab the ebgine n shove it back n forth lol
Joe..
as in, say a valver, sport, 172 etc ?? - in fact, any clio, ANY car.. (but consdier drive train layout (FWD or RWD even 4WD) ??.
No trick questions lol
seriously.. opinions on good handling are like arseholes .. everyone has one .. lol..
what do YOU call good handling...
How do...
I have been following the threads re loose engne mounts on 172s.. and to my dissapointment, the left hand (looking from the front) engine mounting on my 172 doent seem too mounting
can you - if you hold the plenum area and rock the engine back n forth - see and hear movement in the main...
thinking about this a wee bit more, if u have had starter and alt replaced, that involves both sides of the engine - back n front.. so it would be worth checking carefully for any loose sensor wiring or pipes / hoses..
could just be something displaced.
Joe.
Wongy M8.
sounds like fueling, not ignition here. or to be more precise, sounds like, from the description u have given, an induction leak or ISCV hunting / not working..
More than likely a pipe come detatched from the inlet manifold, check all breather pipes etc.
also, check the ISCV...
Hi Crags.. just fer info.. I was referring to changing a 172, not a 16v to Willy ???
Hows the Stalion Mobile going on m8.. and give me the dirt on the turbo needing replacement ??.
Joe..
I have been following the ecotek forum..
the way I dee it is this..
You fitted an Ecotek ?
You thought it definitely helped ?
Your Idle control valve was screwed up by it, costing you dosh for ecu AND valve.. ?
It is now, not only logical that the device doesnt work.. but it is...

no idea on the Williams, not a car I know really
the track could always be changed with light allow spacers, its such a small change that no unreasonavle load would be placed on the wheel bearings.
the whole cup suspension is so easy to copy for a 172 that it will present no real problems...
Hi M8, yep, also, the 3mm drop is caused by the extra inclination of the strut to obtain the caster.
redrill 2 bolts at the bottom arm and you have all the cup suspension mods
it still needs neg camber though.. needs a pair of ofset bolts in the strut to hub mount.

nope, you just created an air leak on a faulty engine / control system
you could have pulled a breather pipe off to do it.
or, had your Lama sensor replaced.
